Love is in the air. Can you feel it?
For those of you that want to do something out of the ordinary with your special someone, we have a few ways for technology and cupid to get together to help you mix it up.
Distant Lover – If you have a long distance love, consider having a video chat date. Go all out like you would if you were actually on a date: dress up in your finest, grab a glass of wine or sparkling cider, and even have dinner or watch a movie during your virtual date. If you want to go the extra mile, send your date a gift in the mail so they can open it on your virtual rendezvous.
Let’s Play a Game – Send your date, virtual clues throughout the day by text or social media with clues for your date. Give them hints about what they should wear, what kind of food you will be eating and whether they should plan to dance all night or take it in early.
Bring the Big Screen To You – Make it a movie night. Have you and your date pick out a romantic movie and snuggle up with each other. Don’t forget to pop lots of popcorn, bring the big sodas and tons of candy to last through the night. You could take it a step further and make a tent in your living room with lots of comfy blankets and pillows or even take the movie on your laptop to the park or your backyard with a picnic. Have some fun with it!
Get Creative – Put all your selfies and usies to good use. Get all your favorite photos together and create a virtual scrapbook of all of you and your significant other commemorating all your special times together. First dates, anniversaries and just all around fun times are a good place to start.
Think out of the box and put your techie skills to good use. Surprise your significant other with some virtual love!
