The Manager: Tiffany J. —Meshach Management, COO
Tiffany J. has been a boss almost from the start. Before she managed careers of R&B and hip-hop stars as COO of Meshach Management, she ran her own promotions company, Street Dreamz, and was an executive at one of Atlanta’s biggest hip-hop labels. The Attorney: Uwonda Carter—The Carter Law Firm, PC, Owner
On any given day, Uwonda Carter, Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Associations’ 2017 Entertainment Lawyer of the Year, is helping the songwriters, television personalities, comedians, authors, and executives who make up her entertainment practice navigate legal transactions. When she’s not negotiating on behalf of those who keep us dancing, laughing and crying, Carter mentors the next generation of entertainment legal minds by working with law students. In her new role as Vice President of A&R at Rostrum Records, Nicole Plantin connects the dots between the creative and business sides of her artists’ careers. Jennifer Drake’s client list includes brands and names that span generations and genres.
