With more than 31,000 AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots nationwide and growing, we do some serious Wi-Fi. Why do we Wi-Fi? Because life is busy and staying connected is a must. Plus, connecting to Wi-Fi on your AT&T mobile device doesn’t count towards your data plan – and we know you like that.
Connecting to Wi-Fi is easy. And with auto-authentication on many of our most popular smartphones, you can switch almost seamlessly from our wireless network to Wi-Fi.
Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve brought you so far – and we've only just begun.
Bookstores and coffee shops
Today, a bookstore isn’t a bookstore and a coffee shop isn’t a coffee shop without a free Wi-Fi connection. It’s like that cup of Joe just doesn’t taste right if you can’t connect to the Internet. That’s why AT&T offers free Wi-Fi to its customers in many bookstores and coffee shops.
Hotels
Hotel Wi-Fi? Yes, please. Traveling can be stressful enough; you shouldn’t have to worry about staying connected. Many hotels have stepped up their game by offering Wi-Fi to guests. In 2010, AT&T entered an agreement with Hilton Worldwide to provide Wi-Fi at Hilton locations in the United States and Canada.
Sports Arenas and Stadiums
Peanuts, popcorn, Wi-Fi. We’ve created Wi-Fi Hot Zones in professional athletic venues to keep you connected as you cheer on your favorite team. Earlier this year, we connected millions of AT&T fans in Indianapolis at football's big game. The newest venue is Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., home of Carolina. Find out more about the in-stadium Wi-Fi trend here.
Retail Stores
It’s a sad day when great shopping is ruined by low connectivity or a non-existent wireless connection. Some retail stores have caught wind of this issue and are teaming up with wireless providers to keep consumers connected. As part of a corporate initiative to create a more connected, interactive shopping experience for customers, Saks Fifth Avenue recently launched AT&T Wi-Fi in 44 retail locations nationwide.
Airports
Free AT&T Wi-Fi is now available at Dallas' largest and busiest airport, Dallas/Fort Worth Airport, for visitors to stay connected to family, friends and co-workers during their travel.
NYC Parks
We love New York (City Parks)! We recently wrapped up our AT&T Free Wi-Fi in NYC Parks initiative. We worked with the City of New York and over the last two years AT&T has connected millions of New York residents to Wi-Fi across the city's five boroughs in 26 parks. New Yorkers can relax, read or connect with friends in the parks listed here.
As you can see, AT&T’s got you covered with Wi-Fi, and it’s only the beginning. It’s what you do, with what we do.
